Van Chai means fishing village in Vietnamese.
The area has a long history steeped in legend and mysticism.
Located in Sam Son Town, 170km from Hanoi, where at the turn of
the 20th century, people discovered the priceless geographical
treasure, cool winds, healthy suns, fine sands and clear water –
a perfect relaxing and restorative holiday destination.
In 1907, the French colonial government developed Sam Son into a
holiday resort destination for French civil servants and
officials based in Thanh Hoa and Northern Vietnam.
