Mai Chau located 140
km west of Hanoi is a very beautiful valley which is surrounded
by mountains, forest and scattered with villages. This is home
to White Thai ethnic people, living in stilt house, rich in
culture. All of these set up a fantastic and peaceful Mai Chau,
it's worth of an overnight here!
Day 01.
Hanoi - Mai Chau
Pick up from your
hotel and drive west of Hanoi, we'll go through Ha Tay province
with the endless view of rice field on the road sides. Then we
reach Hoa Binh town where the biggest hydro electric station in
Viet Nam was built during 1980s , keep moving up the way
through hills and mountains. Arrival to Mai Chau around 11.30 ,
welco
med by the hosts , have lunch with the local cuisine cooked
by the family. Afternoon we take a walk around the villages
nearby and learn more about the White Thai people. Overnight in
the village , music performance is optional .(_/L/D)
Day 02:
Mai Chau - Hanoi
After breakfast
we drive up hills to Sa Linh to see the Mong hill tribe people ,
walking around the village, get to know the unique traditions
and customs of them . Back to Mai Chau for lunch . Afternoon
leave for Hanoi , tour ends. (B/L/_)
