Day 1: Hanoi –
Valentine Junk Cruise Halong Bay
We depart from
the capital at 8 :30 am for Halong Bay approximately three hours
away. En route we have a short stop at the Sao Do center run for
and by handicapped children for short break. We arrive in the
pier at 11:30.
11.30 Arrive at Bai Chay/ Halong
11.45 Transfer by tender to boat – enjoy Welcome Cocktail

11.30 Arrive by tender at Viet Hai – take light bicycle trip
through untouched forests and wildlife. Arrive at rural Viet Hai
Village, enjoy scenery and interact with local people
12.00 – 13.00 Lunch – enjoy light Vietnamese Set Menu
13.30 – 15.45 Optional Tour Program: take a rather steep hiking
trip up Navy Peak (Dao Hai Quan) and be rewarded with
spectacular views over Halong Bay OR Take walking tour through
Viet Hai Village and enjoy the tranquil scenery amongst green
rice paddies. Take return bicycle trip back to tender
